Struggle

There is an extremely thin line between the two spaces that we vibrate in. We presume we are in our personal space but our thoughts are in our professional space. That is where presumably the security lies. Our conscious mind becomes a screen where multiple movies are switched on at the same time. While we concentrate on watching “a” movie, our sensory antennas are visualising multiple movies at the same time. This leads to a complete breakdown at our subconscious level of our thoughts, feelings, emotions, behaviour and ultimately our actions.

This is a continuous struggle we are in at all times. I did a quick survey with my friends and professional colleagues, the results were as follow:

  1. 56% felt their ProPer life is completely messed up.
  2. 29% felt their ProPer life is somewhat messed up.
  3. 15% felt they are managing well.

A big finding that came out of this survey was that the 15% of “managing well” category were also in  faulty perception of a balanced work life, as their concept of personal life is restricted to a sports activity over the weekend, social dinners, movie night and spending so called family time physically, but all throughout being in the professional metal space.

What is our personal space? What is our personal growth? How are we aligned?
